Sea Shells in a Freshwater Tank?

Hello wise and wonderful Venus!
Finneas is doing great after your instructions for ammonia/nitrate poisoning. And the use of several of your great products as brought him back to life as usual…thank you thank you! quick question: are sea shells ok for a freshwater tank with my one goldfish? just don’t want to upset the apple cart. thank you Tammy

    Yes, sea shells contribute to carbonate and calcium mineral value, so they’re very beneficial, and they also help an aquarium look more natural. I have quite a collection myself. My son worked in North Carolina, right on the beach, and spent a lot of time gathering shells. Some of them look ancient, and some very odd shapes too

    If you have natural gravel and sea shells, you’re buffering GH and KH
